Our coaches are professionals following a vocation, we are not a money driven business, our passion is to help guide young people to success and enjoyment of their chosen sport in a not for profit environment.

We are a not for profit organisation. Our fees simply cover our fixed overhead costs.

Costs;

GOLD SQUAD
£100 per calendar month training fee

SILVER SQUAD
£85 per calendar month training fee

ACADEMY GOLD SQUAD
£70 per calendar month training fee

ACADEMY SILVER SQUAD
£65 per calendar month training fee

One off / annual fees;

£25 joining fee for swimmers who already hold a Swim England membership for 2026 through another club.

£75 for new swimmers who have never previously held a Swim England membership.

Every January there are mandatory Swim England fees to cover county, regional and national membership, this will be billed at cost price plus £25 administration fee for the year, this is inline with standard practice at clubs across England.

Membership is continuous unless cancelled with one months written notice.

Swimming Calendar
In general, the swimming year runs from September through to early August and is based on pool hire for an average of 42 weeks. There may be “summer & winter shutdowns” in August, Christmas, Bank Holidays and other times where we attend competition. Refunds are not given for these cancellations, fees are based on overall costs of being a squad member for the year taking into account our fixed overheads, not individual sessions.

Memberships & payments cannot be paused, if for example, you go on holiday for extended periods or decide to take a break due to exams.

The monthly fee that you pay is an annual fee conveniently divided into 12 equal monthly payments so please do not stop your payments during these times.

Langley Swim Squad: Annual Membership Fee Breakdown

The Langley Swim Squad annual membership fee is a small £25 per swimmer, due upon joining and renewable every year on the anniversary of joining.

This nominal fee does not cover pool hire or coaching sessions. Instead, it directly funds the essential background infrastructure required to keep our club safe, organised, and running smoothly.

What Your £25 Annual Fee Covers:

• Club Administration: Covers essential backend software, data protection compliance (GDPR), and general administrative overheads.

• Digital Infrastructure: Funds the production, hosting, security, and ongoing maintenance of the club website and member portals.

• Marketing & Outreach: Finances promotional materials, flyers, and digital outreach to attract new members and keep our community thriving.

• Enrolment & Onboarding: Covers the administrative time and system processing required to register new swimmers and manage renewals.

We are always ready to accept help from new volunteers. Our committee works hard behind the scenes to provide the framework for the club to operate.

Roles vary from governance positions to organising social events, administration of memberships, meet entries, team management and many more.
