Learn to Swim

Our structured Learn to Swim programme is delivered by an experienced team of qualified teachers and coaches who have successfully developed swimmers from complete beginners through to national and international level.
Unlike many large lesson programmes, we deliberately keep our class sizes small so every swimmer receives individual attention, builds confidence and progresses at their own pace.
Our standard class ratio is just 5 swimmers to 1 teacher, allowing us to provide a level of coaching and feedback that is difficult to achieve in larger classes.
Our aim is simple: fewer swimmers per class, more individual attention, faster progression.
Many leisure centre programmes operate classes of up to 10 swimmers per teacher. By teaching smaller groups, our swimmers typically develop better technique, gain confidence more quickly and receive excellent value for money through faster progression.
